Your map was wrong
"I told you that was the wrong door!"
"I was going off my map!"
"A map that was incomplete."
The party of four argued as they left that part of the dungeon. Their attempt at a quest hadn't went so well it seemed. They weren't too happy about it either.
Two of the coursers stuck close to one another's sides, a blue roan and a solid grey who seemed quite close if the way the grey nuzzled into the roan was to go by.
"I'm not happy about it either, Foxglove, but it's not worth fighting about." The grey said, voice soft and gentle.
"I'm just frustrated, Hellebore. This was supposed to be simple. Yet here we are." The roan, Foxglove grumbled and huffed, ears pressing back as he walked.
"Yeah, well you weren't a big help, you know!" A third member, one who had spoken before said with a stomp. A bay dun by the name of Gladiolus. "If you two weren't so lovey Dovey maybe you could have focused better." He growled out.
"That is not the issue. We don't let our relationship get in the way of this sort of stuff." Foxglove growled back, ears pressed back. "Besides. You were SO focused on your stupid maps that you wouldn't consider actually trying to figure out the right one. We for lucky to get away like we did."
"Listen, if you two don't want to agree, that's fine. We're all stressed right now. Let's all just take our own paths and disperse. Arguing doesn't help anything." A gentle giant of a puck said with a sigh. Valentino was just ready to rest. "I think we all just need to rest. No reason to create animosity between us."
"Valentino is right. Let's just split up. Maybe we can try working together again sometime, but I do think taking our time to rest away from each other would do good." Hellebore sighed, herding Foxglove away from their small group. "Take care. May the Dungeon let us cross paths again."
Gladiolus didn't seem to share the same sentiment, stomping off and away, no longer wishing to deal with them.
"Safe travels, everyone." Valentino called, watching as everyone left before going off on their own way, wishing them all the best on their journyes. He did hope to meet them again. Perhaps their adventure would go better next time, or perhaps not.
