The faint glow of the fungi on cast a lovely shade of tiffany blue on the walls of the cavern. Mothman danced between the fungi, excited by the glow and just happy to be within the dungeon yet again. Next to him, however, Terryn was noticing that the whenever Mothman tapped the glowing mushrooms, they would emit a pitch. Some of them were different, and it made Terryn curious if they could play some of the tavern songs on the mushrooms.

“Hey, Mothman, I got an idea.” Terryn neighed, calling the giant moth back to him so that he could explain the plan. When Mothman neared, Terryn tilted his head towards the fungi, “You’re hearing that, right?” 

“You mean the beautiful sounds that the mushrooms are making when I tap them on fly-by? Absolutely.” Mothman swooned over the sounds of the fungi, doing a little back flip in the air as he was excited.

Terryn nodded, “Want to try and play some of the music from the taverns on them with me? Just for fun.”

“Of course!”

Together the two of them began playing one of their favorite songs from the tavern, and as they did so, a rumbling filled the cave. Beside them, a large boulder rolled away from the wall. With the tavern beats still filling the cavern, the duo stopped and turned their attention to the now open path.

“Oh, check that out,” Terryn nickered, walking forward and peering down the now  open path before turning back to Mothman, “I guess we keep going.”

“Lead the way!” Mothman sang, following his owner down the new cavern path.
