Phoebe and Star walked the dungeon; magma bubbling on both sides of them. The trail split into two. “This way.” Phoebe said, taking the left path. Star followed closely behind, not wanting to be left behind. 

Eventually, the magma ceased, and they were going back into an enclosed space. “You don’t talk much do you?” Phoebe asked, turning around to catch a look at Star. “No.” Star grunted. “Why?” Phoebe asked, slowing down so the two Coursers could be side to side. “Doesn’t matter.” Star said, repressing the memories. “I think it does.” Phoebe said, offering her ear. “It doesn’t.” Star sighed. “Why did you want to come down here, to the second level of the dungeon, on your first outing to the dungeon?” Phoebe inquired. “Like I said, it doesn’t matter.” Star said, shaking her head. “Alright.” Phoebe said, not wanting to push the topic further. 

The pair continued through the dungeon. Phoebe suspicious of what happened to Star. “Us women have to stick together.” Phoebe whispered. Star gave her a perplexing look.

The pair continued on, but even with Phoebe’s attention to the dungeon, she couldn’t help but keep glancing back at Star.

Star sighed as Phoebe stopped. “I want to help you. But, that being said, I can’t help you unless you let me.” Phoebe begged Star to let her in. “I’ve known you since we were kids, what the hell is going on?” Phoebe cried. “Phoebe, please drop it.” Star sighed, a single tear shining as it fell from her eye.
