[DD2] welcome to my castle
As you may know my name is Ignacy Wiśniowiecki von Halibut and I am one of the villains that made their den deep within the dungeons. Once upon a time I was young and bright, destined to be one of the next generation of heroes! But I decided to screw it, being a villain is better.
If you are unlucky enough you can find my very personal castle hidden in one of the caves on the second level of dungeons. It is quite literally perfect. The smoke is heavy around it, the menacing light of the lava river flowing below shines on everything giving it that evil edge. The walls are old and thick, the windows are nice and tiny, and to get to the castle you need to pass a bridge! I couldn’t have made it better if I built it myself.
Obviously I don’t live there alone, oh no. I have henchmen. Many of them. Not all of them are evil as sometimes you just need a servant that will go to the surface and buy you groceries without starting a war. But most of them are, don’t be fooled by their beauty.
I don’t spend all the time there, I still manage to roam the dungeons and be evil there. But whenever I get tired or bored I have my perfect little (well, not so little) house to come back to.
And obviously there is the whole deal with pesky little adventurers coming to my gates and demanding that they will defeat me. Sometimes it’s even someone like the great Terrence, and usually it goes somewhere like this:
“Come out villain, I am [put some name of a kid that thinks they are well known or maybe the great Terrence himself] and I am here to end your reign of terror!”
Then I show up at the flanks over the bridge and look at them with a single brow lifted and say: “Sure, but can you withstand the tiny bit of my magic?” And I use a spell I learned a long time ago. Usually I just make them trip. Sometimes I send them visions of nightmares. If I am feeling really annoyed I just make it so rocks start falling on their head.
I tell you, the tiny bit of magic works wonders.
But there is one dungeoneer that sometimes shows up and just stares at my castle. At this point it doesn’t demand we fight. It just sits there and stares. Its name is Prayer and we have met many times before.
It is very annoying since I know it is planning how to deal with my castle. And it's playing mind games, I know it. But the worst part? It has great relationship with my henchmen. They even sometimes invite it inside! Scandalous! Usually then I just lock myself in my room and pretend I am studying some great evil magic. Very annoying. One day I will deal with Prayer but that day has not arrived yet.
But this is the whole deal with my castle? Would you like a tour now, dear traveler?
