“There’s no way i look like that.”

Ken’s gaze was locked upon a wall adorned with painterly depictions of what appeared to be some sort of courser, oddly proportioned and strange. Crude, almost.

The golden horse would shake his head, the white long mane running along his neck swishing as he did so. “I look nothing like that..” Ken would start walking along the wall, keeping his gaze on the wall as he moved. ”..right?” His insecurity shone through for a moment as his face faltered, ears sweeping back.

Jingle, jingle.


The courser’s attention would snap away from the wall, staring down the path as he’d squint, a faint glow would await him at the end of the tunnel. “What.. what is that?” He’d mutter under his breath, his feet moving before he’d even realize.

The jingling grew closer.

Ken would increase into a trot, his hooves hitting the cobblestone and echoing off the walls of the corridor.

“C’mon.” 

The glow would turn into a faint light.

Breaking into a canter, Ken’s gaze would lock onto the light ahead.

"Please."

Silence.

The courser would come to a screeching halt as the light disappeared and darkness took over the room he now found himself in. The silence was almost deafening as the courser would glance around, trying to find the glow and the jingle again.

Though, as if it had never even existed, it was nowhere to be found.

Ken would let a grumble leave his throat as he’d sit down, ears pinning back as he’d huff.

“Fuck this.”
