[EASY] Fall Out Of Line
The hire, Oddjob is at the front of the procession. If they hadn't suggested it themselves, Shield may have - there was a pressing anxiety at the back of his mind that a puck's rabbit-like appearance might make Creature more inclined to prey on them. He listened, generally speaking, Creature, particularly to Litany, but that didn't smother the faint concern in Shield's head.
Litany had wished to explore an odd series of tunnels, and Shield knew better then to think he could talk him out of it. They had made arrangements for the watching of the younger lot, and Shield had sought out someone more experienced then these three - ... he couldn't be sure of Creature's experience, he supposed - and come to an arrangement.
Oddjob was first, then Litany, Shield, and finally at the tail, the towering Creature.
...Was he mistaking something, or was this corridor slowly narrowing out...?
A few minutes on and he knew it to be correct. The brickwork was scraping at his sides now, and Creature had to hunch lower, neck pressed against Shield's back - not an arrangement either of them were thrilled about, really...
"...Oddjob-? Are you we're going the right way, it's... cramped, Creature can't fully stand up-"
Litany caught this, and repeated it more clearly to Oddjob, who paused, and turned, speaking something to their hawk - who swiftly shot off ahead, perhaps to see that the corridor was actually escapable.
...Could they even get back now, if they tried to retreat? Shield could hear the pounding of his own heart in his ears - and feel Creature's more erratic one where it's neck was pushed down against him. His legs felt liable to lock up.
"Shield." Litany's voice broke him from the terror. "He says it widens back out a bit ahead, he's been here before."
"...Alright. Onwards."
"Your party advances into the dungeon.
All sounds seem amplified by the close walls in this cramped corridor. The passage only narrows as you forge ahead, forcing your party to march in single file. Soon, unyielding stone presses against you from both sides, squeezing your body and filling your ears with your own thundering heartbeat.
Your party must make a Wisdom check as claustrophobia sets in."
