Jade stood tilting her head this way and that in the dusty reflection of a set of abandoned armor. It seemed in poor condition in the state it was in and abandoned by the previous adventurers who no longer needed it. Nothing about it seemed to be note worthy for her aside from it's reflection which she used to gaze upon herself. She had found a crown laying in an old chest not far away that now made itself a permanent part of her coat markings.
Her inspection paused when she heard the 'tick tick tick' sound close by against the armor. "Oh what now.." she muttered softly some what annoyed. It seemed like there was never a dull moment within the dungeon.

The old armor lay still all but for the chanfron that shifted subtly against the stone floor. One twitch then another before two it began to rise up with multiple legs stretched out from beneath it. Jade backed away carefully unsure of what was occuring until she saw the large pinchers click together. This critter was quite large for it's size and seemed well adjusted in it's home. It seemed to not take to kindly to a courser showing up to perhaps take the armor it had.

Snapping it's pincers towards Jade and starting to shift her direction, the metal of the chanfron screeched against the stone floor. She hardly viewed this as a threat but rather an opportunity. The dungeon did not provide to many opportunities for food. Grinning at her opponent and rearing her self up she charged to creature ready for a fight.

After a length battle with the crustacean, Jade found herself victorious and proud of what she had achieved. Perhaps the creature did not deserve such a fate but this corser found herself with an empty belly. She tossed the empty chanfron aside and lay by the small fire she had made to cook the crustacean on letting it sizzle and simmer on the pike.
"I would offer you some little toad but I don't think this is your type of meal. It's not really my choice either but I prefer not to be to picky." she mused and nipped at one of the legs. A careful crunch and she began to pull at the tender meat inside.

The toad scrambled out of the scarf and plopped onto the ground with a little rolle. "Breep Braap." it croaked as if in response or perhaps. Content with this, Jade continued to enjoy the warm meal in peace.
