Everything In Shambles [Part One]

Victor

I dashed back into the library. The books were still attacking Lucky, Slate, Ace, Dobby, and Bailey. I honestly had no idea what to do. Everything was happening so fast. I decided to help Lucky first, since he was being bombarded the most. Books were slamming into his side, and his head. “Lucky! Get out of here!” I screamed, getting closer.

A book hit me in the back of the head. I stumbled forward, trying to get my footing again. Bailey barked in pain as more books slammed into her. I rushed to her, but more books slammed into me. “Dobby, get Bailey out of here, then come back!” I screamed. Dobby flew away from the books he was dealing with, and scooped Bailey up in his bony arms. Bailey let out an unsure yelp, but Dobby kept hold of her.

Ace screeched while swooping down at some of the books around me. A few pages glided down to the ground, it's clear we are heavily outnumbered. Another book hit me in the back of the head, and the world flickered in black…

Lucky

I tried to defend myself from the books around me, but without any type of weapon, they just kept coming and wouldn’t stop. I kicked at the air, but didn’t manage to hit any of the hundred books around me.

I saw Victor fall to the ground. “Victor!” I screamed, and tried to rush over, but Victor was quickly covered by at least fifty books. The books on me kept hitting me. “I command you to stop!” A voice screamed. All of the sudden, all the books fell to the ground. Before I could see who saved us, I rushed over to Victor. I pushed as many books off of him as I could. “Victor.” I cried, a single teardrop dropping from my cheek to his eye. I pushed the rest of the books off of him. “Victor, don’t, don’t die on me. Please.” I cried, huddling over him. “I love you. Don’t die on me. Please Victor, please.” I whispered. “I love you.” I cried, choking on my tears. My entire body started shaking as I stood over his body. “Victor.” I choked. Another tear dropping from my cheek to his. “Please. Victor.” I gasped, feeling like my heart was being pulled out of my body. “Please.” I choked.

Slate

I couldn’t hear anything with the amount of commotion. Hundreds of books surrounded me, and while I tried to fight back, I knew the chance of me making it out alive was slim. Out of nowhere, all the books dropped lifeless to the ground. “Huh?” I panted. I looked around. I saw Lucky on the other side of the room, and an odd Courser floating in midair. It looked kinda like Auryn…

Auryn

I know Victor wanted me to stay safe, since I am blind. But that’s not me. I followed Victor after a few minutes had passed. By the time I got back into the library, even just by the sounds I could tell everything was in shambles. I heard Lucky screaming, hooves hitting the ground, Ace screeching, but I couldn’t hear Victor. I mean, I couldn’t hear Slate either so maybe they just weren’t screaming.

Something overcame me, I’m not sure what. I felt this urgency, this pull, this odd feeling, just to scream. So I decided to scream. “I command you to stop!” I screamed on the top of my lungs. I heard clattering, and I couldn’t feel the floor anymore. It felt like I was being lifted up. I somehow could see again. It was dull, but I could still see. I saw a few colors swirling around me, and pure white floating underneath me. I looked around, I could see a black Courser staring at me in awe, and a green Courser standing over a cream and white Courser.
