“Quite an interesting situation...” Reverend said nervously. It seems that once his curiosity made him foolish, and he learned that messing around with random loose stones with one day be the death of him. Maybe even today if he fails to escape.

Is this the first time he’s been trapped in a room? No. Is this the first time he’s had an encounter with lava? Unfortunately, so.

He managed to perch himself onto a stone that was much higher than the rest of the flooring around him, but now the bubbling lava left little room to move around. One slip and he would be done for, burnt to a crisp with nothing left but his bones remaining…if those could even survive being swallowed by this ravenous magma.

Reverend would have to do something soon. The magma’s heat was rather unbearable in such a small room, and his extra hair did not make it much easier to withstand the heat.

He looked forward, seeing the exit of the room still available to him…if he could make the jump. It was risky, but he would grow tired eventually from managing all his weight on such a small perch. And so, with a small huff he very carefully leapt from the perch right to the doorway. A loud sigh of relief left his mouth as he looked back to the room.

This time he found himself lucky to escape, but perhaps now he should check a room for its dangers before he mindlessly pokes around.
