Victor

I held the back of the group, as per usual. Dobby flew beside me. I kept catching myself staring at Lucky. I sighed, and put my head down as the group kept moving forward. I couldn’t help but feel like running far away from this party, but Lucky won’t kick me out of another group.

Is it his fault? At this point, I have no idea. As much as I try to keep a strong, and aggressive look, it’s so damn hard when I’m falling in love with him.

Lucky

Me and Auryn were side by side. “How do you feel?” I asked her. “Fine.” She huffed. She was still panting and out of breath from our encounter with the gas. My head was in shambles trying to figure out what to do with Victor. He’s done me wrong, but at the same time I’ve done him wrong. Maybe we just aren’t cut out for each other. Auryn is so beautiful and I feel an odd pull to her. At the same time, I can’t just forget about Victor.

I try to push all these thoughts to the back of my mind as we approach a library. Bailey barked, and ran into the large space filled to the brim with books, maps, and even a few treasures. We all seemed to relax as we trotted inside, the books spilling out of the bookshelves. Maps and tools littered around the old space. The walls quite literally falling apart.

Slate

I sighed as I trotted forward inside after Lucky and Auryn. For some reason, I felt like the group didn’t like me very much, but I couldn’t even begin to fathom why.

The place looked old, and honestly quite disgusting. Lucky seemed to be pleased with the find, but all I could see was old rotting books, which mind you, smelled awful.

Victor

I gleamed as I entered the library. With Dobby by my side, it would be easy to get a few books and leave relatively quickly, before the mage that probably is still around, comes back. And hey, it would provide a great distraction from Lucky.

I saw one volume that caught my eye, it had a dusty white cover, with silver writing. It didn’t seem to be in English though, maybe some other language. Maybe even a magical language. The possibilities are endless. I picked up the volume, and the moment I did the book began to flutter. “Huh?” I inquired. All the other books flew up, and began swooping down. “Lucky run!” I screeched, and ran. Dobby right by my side. “Dobby, distract them.” I ordered. Dobby sighed, but he flew up and began harassing the books.

Auryn

Ace flew off of my back, Lucky stayed by my side as the books swooped down, trying to hit us. I could hear shirks, possibly the books, saying things I couldn’t understand. “Come on Auryn! Fucking hell!” Lucky cried. We ran side by side, and even though I couldn’t see, I trusted Lucky to guide me out. “Lucky, where is everyone else?” I asked. Lucky didn’t respond right away. “I’m not sure.” He said with honesty. There was a loud bark, followed by a dog’s cries. “Bailey!” Lucky screeched, and turned a sharp left. I tried to stay on his shoulder, but in a second’s notice, was left alone.

After what happened in the chamber with the gas, I didn’t feel safe running. “Ace!” I cried. I could hear the bird screeching, but he didn’t come to help me.

Victor

I’m running to the exit, when I see Bailey getting hit hard in the ribs with a book. Bailey barked, and whimpered, and Lucky rushed over. I can see Auryn, looking lost. I hear her call for Ace, so I run over. “Auryn, let’s go.” I asserted. I put my shoulder on her shoulder, and we cantered out of the library. Once we were out, I tried to go back for Lucky, and I guess Slate…
