[DD1] Ancient Remnants
Hemlock carefully steps into a section of the cavern that feels ancient. It's surprisingly arid for this area of the cave, cobwebs are strung across every crevice and surface. There's no pieces of armor or barding; unusual to see in the caverns as they typically appear with some frequency. On the other hand, Hemlock notes that the lack of equipment and a well beaten path could be a sign of untouched treasure. A sense of excitement fills him as he considers the possibilities he could find deeper in this cave.
Hemlock remains light on his feet and wary of traps in the dusty cavern. However, he notices old painted images on one of the walls. They're coursers, oddly shaped ones with big bellies and little legs but recognizable nonetheless.
He has no clue who or what made them and he doesn't particularly care. But he does believe the herd of these coursers may have been painted in the direction of more interesting finds. He continues down the hall, his shadow casting on the wall beside the paintings as if he's one of them. It gives Hemlock an odd feeling but he continues on, hoping to find something more portable to take back with him. If he's lucky, it might even be something valuable.
