Magma had begun to pool on the furnace floor,

Gale was in distress, but so much like times before,

Oneiros appeared. Gale thought themself to be saved.

Much dangers had the two beings together braved.

"Oneiros, thank heavens!" Gale cried, with a scared yelp.

"Oh, my dear Gale, I'm afraid, I'm not here to help."

Gale thought they had heard wrong... They must've misunderstood!

Because Oneiros to them had only seemed good:

Such was his good, that Gale had much thought about love,

Willing to live down below, instead of above,

Just to stay with Oneiros, who they did care for.

Little did they know this had always been in store.

"Long ago, your ancestors put me in a cage,

I promised on them great revenge, such was my rage.

But though they are long dead, there does still remain you!

You thought me as your knight, honorable and true...

I am Oneiros, and I planned out a poor fate...

But this so will do as well, since you took the bait.

Do you feel tired? As if very soul has been drained?

That is the mere beginning of you being pained."

Red eyes seemed to glow in the molten magma light.

"Remember this well, if you live past this tonight...

I am Oneiros, a devil, not your kind friend,

For that facade now has reached its cruel end."

Oneiros did vanish, and Gale felt betrayal,

They had fallen in love with a mere portrayal.

And now they felt weakened, yet they still must escape;

Their own desire for revenge begun to take shape.

Somehow, poor Gale, they managed to reach a way out,

But now acts of kindness they would forever doubt.

If the devil wish to play games, they would so play,

For act of revenge, the devil one day would pay
