You’ve heard that the dungeon’s fungi are connected to one another in a system resembling a brain, even resulting in something like intelligence. You experience this for yourself when a fungal growth in the shape of a Courser meets you at the end of a tunnel – but not just any Courser. You. It seems to be mirroring your movements. How do you proceed?

jussi is not cowardly, but has a healthy dose of self-preservation. its understandable to be at first spooked by a dark shape at the end of the tunnel that copies your every move!

after the initial shock, jussi did what she does best: survive. and part of survival is eating anything you can get your hooves on, since beggars cant be choosers. the mushroom meat was robust with a rich tang of umami, grilled over a fire with a side of foraged herbs.

maybe it was a bit morbid, but nobody has to know... but after the dinner jussi thought that maybe she shouldve buried that thing in a hollow grave. she wont be turning into a mushroom herself, right?

right?...

if only she was a proper dungeoneer instead of a farmer with more knowledge on mushroom preparation than dangers lurking underneath the ground.
