Punk lets out a snort, impatient to get to her destination: a small cave that she had discovered on her last excursion into the dungeon. Her eagle, Spider, flaps noisily behind her as she walks down a set of crudely carved stone stairs, leading down into a wide cavern. The cavern is interrupted by a wide, jagged crevice that cuts the smooth stone floor in half. If Punk remembers correctly, she needs to get to the other side of the cavern in order to find the cave. However, how would she get across the crevice… As she thinks, she walks down the cavern, parallel to the crevice. Suddenly, she spots a bridge. Perfect! Spider, already on the other side of the crevice, caws, as if urging her to hurry. She jumps onto the bridge, and begins to creep across it- the surface is slippery, and curved downward slightly. Odd design for a bridge, but hey, it worked. As she reaches the middle of the bridge, it suddenly buckles under her. Just as she begins to panic, it bucks back upward, with such force that it makes her knees buckle beneath her. Scrambling to her feet, trying to make sense of what is happening, she rushes down the bridge, trying to make it to the other side before it moves again. Alas, it has other ideas, and swings to the left. As she struggles to keep her footing, she gets a good look at the side of the bridge. And she sees… legs. So, so many legs. Millipede, she realizes with a shiver. She is prepared for the next movement, now that she knows what she is dealing with. As the bug begins to buck, she uses the momentum to propel herself forward, and she lands solidly on the cavern floor, next to a very worried Spider. The millipede scuttles off to the other side of the cavern, and quickly disappears into the darkness.

“Well Spider. Let's keep going towards that cave, huh?”
