[DD1] Bella/Belial - DD #1-3
Though Bella had always had the intention to make the dungeons her new home upon escaping the farm, it would be even more set in stone after she was taken over by the entity calling itself Belial. With the enticing disguise of a harmless crown, it had lured the young courser into its grasp.
Belial could not be outside the dungeon for long, or his powers would slowly perish, which now in turn meant that Bella would have to live by the same rules. She was not completely opposed to this, in the dungeons there were many things to do, occasionally even other coursers to meet, though their intentions would rarely be good towards said coursers.
Belial decided that his best bet to leech off of others would be to set up shop near the surface, though not too close to the wizard, as he feared he would be able to catch on to what was going on much easier. He simply could not risk such a thing happening, so he built up a cozy little abode with some rubble for walls and tattered cloth for a makeshift door. Mostly to get some privacy in case someone would walk by while they were asleep.
After finishing her rustic home, Bella stepped back and took a look, smiling with pride and joy. This was home. Her home. She no longer had to follow the rules of any strict or boring adults, only her own. As well as Belial’s bidding, though that would soon become her second nature, unbeknownst to her.
The young courser decided that a sign on their other door was in order, but she was painfully aware of her incapability of sewing and embroidery, so she got the splendid idea to ask the ranger for assistance. Making her way back towards the entrance, cloth in mouth, she did her very best to avoid disturbing any dungeon dwelling critters along the way.
She approached the ranger’s shop, and thankfully he was present. She dumped the cloth on his table of wares and looked at the slightly confused ranger with anticipation, ears flicking. The ranger clocked and eyebrow and looked up at the tobiano courser, and it then clicked for Bella that of course the ranger had no idea what she wanted.
Bella backed off a bit and in the dust on the ground and with the help of some small sticks and plant matter did her best to write Do not disturb. She then approached the ranger again, nodded to her message on the floor and then picked up the cloth to hopefully get the message across.
The ranger looked at her writing, then back at her and reached out his hand to get the piece of cloth. He started to embroider the message onto the cloth, and was even kind enough to attach hooks at the top of the cloth since Bella had no way to actually sew it up at home herself.
After seeing the result, Bella happily snickered and placed a bag of coins on the table in return for the help. She grabbed the cloth sign and swiftly made her way through the corridors to her little home, and hung it up. It was perfect.
