A pangare bay sat at the entrance to another room, their neck careened over his body, nosing through one of their satchels. Food, food, food... was all that was on Pancake's mind. He had been exploring for a couple hours now and the intense hunger caused by his dungeon diving had just sprung upon her like a Dracula to her neck.

She raised her head upon realizing that she had nothing to satisfy her hunger within her satchel. "Ah... I must've gone through all the rations I packed already." She muttered to herself aloud, a slight whine to her tone. What was it, lunch time? Mmmm... what could she eat? Some roasted hazelnuts... ripe cheese... mushroom stew... Oh! Bread pudding! Pancake licked her lips just thinking about all the possible snacks and meals that she could have. Alas, her stomach grumbled once more, willing himself to get up. He certainly wouldn't fill his stomach just sitting here.

The thought of turning back entertained his mind, but then he looked into the room he had been sitting next to. Hmph... what if there was food in there? Then he wouldn't have to fork over coin to some merchant with sky high prices. Or... a shiver went down his spine... go to the surface! It was then that Pancake decided, he'd explore this room!

As he trotted in, Pancake was surprised to see behemoth silk cocoons hanging from the caverns' ceiling. She traced the ceiling to the walls then to the floor... flicking an ear back as she noticed one within reach. As she got closer, Pancake noticed a silhouette within it... larvae. She stared in awe, only for her grumbling stomach to remind her of why she came in here. Meat was a delicacy she barely got to try. Hmm... what did giant dungeon grub taste like anyway?

Welp! Her mind was settled! Lets get to feasting!

Pancake reached for the handle of her small knife, then faced the cocoon again. Slowly and carefully, she cut into its surface. As she pulled away, green ooze slowly seeped out of the silky casing. After putting her knife back into its sheath, Pancake lowered her head, gingerly flitting her lips over the substance before mustering up the will to take a bite out of it. Ewgh... thick... slimy... but filling! Maybe if she tore open more of it she could get the larvae. Ooo, what seasonings would go well with it? What about---

A distant screech hit Pancake's ears, interrupting her thoughts. Ack! What if that thing guards these cocoons? The thought of sticking around to fight the creature off graced her mind, but her empty stomach once again reminded her that she was not currently fit for a battle. Curses!

Without time to harvest the cocoon, Pancake galloped right out of there to purchase some pricey, sanitized lunch instead!
