Vere was in a dilemma. Trotting from corridor to corridor, through long hallways and crossing rougher paths, she now stood at a crossroads. In Front of her different paths spread to different directions. But which one should she take? They were a little lost. Maybe more then a little lost. They’ve been following directions they had gotten from coursers before she entered the dungeon, but Vere couldn't remember anything about this cross section, and which one should be safe, or very dangerous.

There were three paths. Each one she ventured no more than a few steps, just to take a look and get a sense of… anything she could grasp or learn about it.
The first path looked like it’d eventually lead back to the overgrown caverns, a soft greenish light coming from the end with a stair-like path leading up. Vere didn’t want to return to the surface through the overgrown caverns quite yet, so this path was not for her.

The second path she looked into felt odd… it felt like the air was stagnant, like still water. Although it wasn’t dark, and almost looked like there was a light blue sheen to the hall further down, it felt off. Before she decided she checked the last path.

The third, and last, path continued on besides small puddles of lava. The smoke and heat farther down the path made it difficult to see where it would lead. But at least it looked like this path continued on like the last path she took. She looked behind her once more, then down the second ominous hall, and then to the more familiar third path. For now she decided to stick to what she knew, not knowing these depths very well yet. She had made her decision.
