Elidyr sighed as he stepped through the caverns, shaking spiderwebs and dust from his coat. "Why did I ever agree to this? I don't want to get my hooves dirty... but of course that damn Mare just had to convince me...damn juicy apples." He grumbled as he continued through the narrow passage.

After turning a corner he stopped, a chill going down his back as he took in his surroundings. Large, white-ish pillars lining the rocky formations. His ears flickered towards a faint humming in the distance, any confidence he had flying out the window.

He gulped as he slowly stepped further inside, making sure to pick up his hooves to not trip on the weird, stringy white things. It was a hot second before a large insect flew by, it's abdomen glowing faintly. Yet the light was strong enough to illuminate the area around him, revealing that the white pillars were cocoons, filled with bugs, mainly moths, and catarpillars, moving around slowly in their growing habitat.

As quickly as he came inside, he was back out, rushing through a small opening to the side of the cave. His heart was racing, eyes wide as he turned back around. He could hear loud buzzing, slowly settling at the opening he had just rushed through.

A large, facetted eye was looking at him, the buzzing loud and chilling before the bug slowly retreated back to the darkness, leaving the heraldic's heart racing.
