The sun was as high in the sky as it possibly could be in the cloud painted blue and the red dun roan took a deep breathe with her eyes closed,taking in the small moment of the wind being still and the suns rays just warming certain spots over her faded fur,even the usually active cat had tagged along and was now resting on Eldregns back as to not be left behind with the seal bay courser they had no will to be around after what had happend many months prior to his owner and caretaker Eldregn.

The roan chuckled hearing the small thumps of hoofsteps behind her and she glanced back at the small buckskin running towards her across the small dents the field of grass had tried hiding with its floral and soft patch of unstoppable growth of its millions of green shades, her brown eyes met with the colts that was running towards her while she was enjoying the sun.

The little buckskin colt laughed happily while running up besides his mother and pressed his face into her shoulder while trying to recatch his breath after his long gallop across the field to catch up with his mother. ''Mom! Mom i saw a groundhog! i had no idea they were hiding out in this field haha, im sure this place might have more holes than usual due to it'' he was a smart and cautious foal and Eldregn made sure to praise him for this high intelligence. 
''That you are very right about Kapteeni, but im sure it will take a good while before they manage to dig this WHOLE place up..its a giant meadow afterall dear, but good job thinking about the consequences of their natural behaviour'' she nuzzled her muzzle into her sons front mane and head and helped itch his ear by nibbling it,mostly it was to just playfully tease her son and Kapteeni couldent help but laugh and let her have her moment of fun before he himself got up on his hindlegs and bit in return into the base of her mane.

Their little play time woke the ginger cat up ,he couldent be too annoyed but he made sure that the foal didnt touch him even if accidently and he backed up to rest on the mares rump instead to feel safer and less disturbed by their playful nonsense
''aaww sorry Gizmoo!'' the colt cried out and rested his ears back while looking up at the kitty and gently put his chin on his moms flank pouting
Gizmo glanced at the colt who was already showing his hidden roan gene after these months of being out in the real world,he rolled his eyes and moved his tail to touch the small horses nose, this in turn made Kapteeni sneeze and lose balance.
Falling back on the soft ground he looked up suprised at the uncaring cat,Eldregn watched and then moved over to comfort the not yet crying or whining foal of hers but nudged his side lightly ''come on now, he will forgive you at some point im sure of it..but yes he is still mad about it''
''mooom..it was a month ago and i said sorry a million tiiimes!''

''I know that honey..but Gizmo is a stubborn independent cat,if u give him a reason not to care he will take it quite easily,and you did end up stepping on his tail''
The colt sighed and got back up and pressed into Eldregn once more,letting go of the topic as he stared up at the sun and starting to enjoy it by the red roans side,understanding how nice it felt to just exist and he couldent help but smile
