POV : Odessa / Black Lilly

After my last adventure with Phoebe I decided to ask her on another , this time in the battlefield area of the moor. I learned my lesson last time on taking unknown pathways so I will definitely not do that again. This time I was super happy to hear that Phoebe was thrilled to go on another journey with me , she said she could never say no . I think she had too much fun last time , watching me get scared . Anyways we got geared up and packed our supplies before heading off. Once we reached the area I got some chills , the battlefield was so ‘Empty’ Yet full at the same time. It was a graveyard for the old world that once was but will never be. The skeletal remains scattered all around the dark blood stained soil. Both humanoid and Coarser bones watched over their cold grave yard.

“ this is … so sad and scary. “ I said with a bit of a trembling voice

“ yes , it was such a sad war … couldn’t be helped tho. “ Phoebe replied

As we continued I grabbed any treasures or coins I spotted while Phoebe told me the history of this battle. It was interesting but sad . Something glimmered in the corner of my eye, I approached where the glimmer came from to come across a heart wrenching scene… a human and its coarser companion, one wrapped around the other , embracing each other's heads. How sad I thought , such a unbreakable bond and love . A pair that left from this world together , holding each other till the end so they wouldn’t be alone. All that remains of their breathtaking bond is dust and bone.

“ so … heart wrenching … “ i mumbled

“ yes … at least they weren’t alone i'm their final moments “ Phoebe said while approaching from behind me

I spotted the glimmer again , it was a chanfron and some gear that was covered with dust. I picked it up carefully trying to not disturb the peaceful resting place of its owners. It was made of silver and stone , engraved with swirls ,waves and hearts in an elegant manner. Hallow would like this Possibly when they settle in more . It seems big enough for their body. At least I think it is. When it started to get darker we packed up our goods and headed home for the day. As we left I looked back at the scene once more, almost a slight glow fell upon the bones and dust in the dark. I saw a flower of some sort and ran back to place it on them. On my way home I can't help but cry... such an amazing bond yet a heartbreaking end.

At least they will never be alone in their next adventure.

"Skeletal remains of humanoids and Coursers alike are a common sight on the Moor, but you've stumbled upon a pair of them in a strange pose. The human's arms are wrapped around the Courser's skull, their foreheads touching one another."

How does this strike you?

Tears fall down Odessa's cheeks seeing such a beautiful bond
