Mantis and Vakarine, their wills were rather strong.

Oneiros, he appeared, much to others' surprise,
Mantis had not met him, but Knew by his red eyes
This was the being that gifted their friend magic,
They hoped this campaign would not reach an end tragic.
Though to Vakarine this undead being been kind,
Mantis Knew cruelty was not beyond his mind.

They were right to worry, but they did not know that
Oneiros was playing a game of mouse and cat
With poor unaware Gale, who saw him and they smiled.
Gale did not realize what he was, too beguiled
By the seeming horse's eyes and natural charm.
The more aware two did not want to Gale alarm,
Therefore on his nature, the two they were quiet.
Knowing of the undead, it could cause a riot.

"Thank you for the save!" Gale happily did proclaim.
Not knowing Oneiros was defending his claim
On his poor prey, this greatly unfortunate Gale,
This horse's life would be a more unhappy tale.
But this is not a tale of life, but a campaign,
So for ours worries far future, we shall abstain.
The group, now visually four, they wandered past,
Until they all had entered a round chamber vast.

Sand crunched under hooves, in a coliseum.
Oneiros sighs. Better than a mausoleum,
He thought back to before with great irritation.
Here shades watched battles with never a cessation.
Soon a silhouette circled, 'twas a Courser's ghost,
And while the group indeed did have magic to boast,
There was only but one way to their victory;
Oneiros, he with nature contradictory.
