Nightwing blinks down at the noisy pixies, their heads barely knocking against his knees and insistant flapping lips spewing curses. They wave furiously and hop on their little feet, outraged that he hasn't moved from the sight of destruction let alone addressed them. The blue roan hops back with wide open eyes as it sparks within his mind, he had just stepped into a cavern with a thriving Pixie colony without recognizing it!

"Oh! I apologize little ones." The words burst from his own lips, a sheepish wince set in the press of his ears against his head. His long dark tail lashes side to side, highlighting his embarassment over the lack of hoof awareness, he had been watching the ceiling and the walls for any sign of the foliage that he had been tasked with gathering.

One of the lessons he had been taught before taking to the Buried Kingdom was to keep his hooves and eyes moving, yet he clearly has already forgotten it. 

 The mushroom pops up slowly despite the quick removal of his hoof, its form listing to the side and groaning offtune squeaks. It wasn't... completely damaged, but that didnt mean they would be able to use the building any time soon.

"You better be, Courser! We just finished it in time for the festival... What are we going to do now?" The smaller Pixie of the two cries out, dragonfly wing locs swinging from side to side as they toss their head.

The other Pixie crosses their arms, disgruntled huffs coloring the air with humidity and their beady gaze sharp from behind half-lids. It was best that he moved along and prefferably down a different path. The longer way around, no doubt.

Nightwing grimaces, "Forgive me.... Excuse me." He tries to placate them as he backs down the path he had just trod, hindquarters tucked tight underneath his carriage.
