He peered down at the lava below, his head tilted in a rare thought of foolish contemplation He was just high enough to be a few feet above the danger zone. Korhonen was having a peculiar idea, one that may be a little bit silly...even stupid, maybe. His mane and tail had grown so long they dragged on the ground now, his mane especially being a nuisance for movement. It had been a long, long time since it had stopped growing altogether to be permanently stuck in an unmanageable length.

The vampire had no desire to really look presentable so without hesitation he carefully lowered his head as close to the flowing river of burning fire to...singe his mane to make it shorter. There was no pain in hair and he couldn't feel the burning heat as an undead Courser so he was able to keep his position for a good few seconds to forcibly burn his mane to be short enough that it would end at his shoulders. He wasn't going to care if it looked bad or not, Korhonen was only doing this so he didn't keep tripping on the damn thing anytime he moved faster than a trot.

He slowly lifted his head back up, careful to wait a minute before allowing his now newly singed and shortened mane to rest against his skin. The foolish idea had somehow worked out for him, now he no longer had an attached tripping hazard. He looked behind himself to decide on if he would do the same with his tail...

...Of course he's going to, his brain cells went to another dungeon today and that is how he ended up sat down with his tail dipped in lava and his ass probably burning.

Definitely burning. Oh well, he doesn't have much on his butt anyway. Except maybe now a burn.
