If anyone else had told Terrence that Helle was Euele's relative, he never would've believed them. 

Where Euele had been over prepared and quiet, Helle had hardly been prepared and was loud. She was crass and mean and was always stepping on his toes and he was, quite frankly, rather done with all her and all her idiosyncrasies. His ears flicked back as he dared to look over at her as she stomped along beside him. He'd been trying to avoid talking to her, quite frankly, he'd gotten a headache from all her loud yammering and cursing. Cursing at this, cursing at that, cursing at the wall, cursing out the ceiling... he did agree at her cursing at the heat, but did she really have to be sooooo loud? 

"How are you holding up?" He dared to ask, glancing over at her through the cloud of steam fluttering up from the earth. 

"Well enough, ya bastard." She looked over at him and huffed out a grin. "How about yourself, rich boy?"

His ears flattened. "Doing alright. How's the heat treating you? Do we need to stop and refresh anything?" Terrence asked. "Your charms still doing as they're supposed to?"

"I'd be nothing but a burnt crisp if they were doing anything but working, wouldn't I?" Helle shook her head. "I'm doing fine, just fine. How much longer til we get to where we're going?" 

"As long as it takes to get there. J-j let me know when we've got to stop and do charm maintenance." Terrence went back to his thoughts. There was no way he was going to listen to her for any more time than he needed to. Not at least until she figured out how to turn her volume down.
