It was high summer now, and if they were going into the furnace at this time of year ... Devereux's somewhat thicker coat, made suitable for the northern landscape both they and Phantasm hailed from was likely going to be an issue with any time longer then half an hour in the swelter.

Devereux stared between Fetch, Phantasm, and then the offered items. Their intact ear twitched. "Already hot down there, Uncle."

Devereux squinted - if they leaned in close, there was the faint hum of magic from the items, something northerners were particularly sensitive to - and thus invaluable to identify magically beneficial or cursed items when down in a living, crawling dungeon below. Phantasm had called upon them to hone it, to learn it - all the better skill to offer if they wished to do work in the dungeons like Phantasm himself.

Dev turned away from the hat - too much like Phantasm's - and collected the cloak, dragging it over their shoulders. A cool temperature emitted, soaking down over their back.

Fetch seemed satisfied, leaning to help fasten it in place.

The three slipped off after that - Devereux's goose swiftly becoming aware that it wasn't waddling fast enough, and scurrying after them in a rush of feathers and loud protests.
