The day was bright and crisp and clear up above, but it wasn't enough to Blackbird. She'd spent her young life on a hunt for knowledge. She devoured any book she could beg or borrow (but never steal, she told herself she was above that.) The young Courser was quite sure she'd read every even remotely affordable text that had been anywhere near her long ago. So it was time to look for more. And the only place that had free books available were the dungeons, so it was time she made her debut.

None of her friends had been particularly enthralled with heading below, so she was ready to be a solo adventurer. At least for now. Blackbird wondered if her friends would be more interested in joining her if she found a glittering relic or previously unheard of tome. She'd witnessed a few other adventurers who's brought back incredibly interested loot, and there was no reason that wouldn't be her. So, on to the dungeon.
