A Meeting in the Market

First Dawn was excited. She'd successfully completed an adventure into the dungeon all by herself. She couldn't wait to tell her mentor all about it. Fetch had kindly taken her into the Earthen Furnace to show her the ropes. The curious Courser was rarely above ground, by First Dawn had heard that she'd be in the market today, selling her recent finding. She just had to tell Fetch about her success. First Dawn's heart fluttered as she spotted the other horse, who seemed to be perusing books under a tattered tent awning.

"Fetch! I did it!" First Dawn couldn't help but exclaim happily about her accomplishments. A few other shoppers glanced at her, but went on with their own business.

Fetch looked up from the books, meeting First Dawn's eyes. "The sun rises each morning. It set's each night." First Dawn couldn't quite parse the exact meaning of her mentors words, but they seemed affirming.

"Thanks!" The heraldic's tail swished happily.

"Thanks!" Fetch echoed back, clearly sharing First Dawn's joy. She then resumed browsing the books, seemingly inviting First Danw to join her. Or at least certainly not telling her to leave. And that was good enough for First Dawn.
