[DD1] Bairaz the Wild (Illusions of Home)

While safety is an illusion, it is one to maintain,

For it strengthens the weary heart and keeps the tired mind sane.

Bairaz the Wild lives up to the title he does possess,

Wherever he goes, plants do follow with a faithfulness:

Some say at birth he was blessed, some say he was cursed

Whatever the cause of magic, it cannot be reversed.

In no place long can he stay or else the wild takes over,

Houses grow moss and what once were crops turn into clover.

Because of this curse home is no place that he can return,

But the blessing is this, he long now has happened to learn:

This wilderness of green that he brings with, it gives him peace

So that his home becomes anywhere the magic can reach.
