Leiken was not prepared to go home yet.

And yet here he was, headed back home, Que dragging her paws behind him. Both of them were bug-bitten with poorly dried coats and soggy looking expressions as they continued onwards. Neither of them wanted to go back, but both knew when they were beaten. It felt odd to Leiken to even call the estate home. It was where he had been found, where he had grown up. And sure he'd been stuck there for years of his life and had loved running away but going home felt... right? It felt weird to call it home, but it was right. 

The Azimuth Estate was home. And right now all he wanted to do was crawl back through those doors and fall asleep in the bath with plenty of oats and apple cider sitting nearby. 

Oh, but he really liked the idea of someday becoming completely able to live within the dungeon. He'd lasted a few days down here, and it was his first time down. He wanted to live down here. To call it home. To hear its call and listen to the sweet melody of all there was. He wanted to explore deeper than anyone had ever gone, go further than anyone, see more than there had ever been seen. So yes, Azimuth Estate was home, but only for now. Eventually, someday it would be the dungeon and all it held within.
