Another day, another dungeon. Lujayn greeted the darkness like an old friend. It was something of a comfort to be back below the surface, though she had homes above; the wind on the grassy knolls outside had caressed her face in goodbye as she'd passed through the dungeon gates again, a promise to see her soon.
Her eyes adjusted to the dim light quickly, and she made her way through the first few tunnels with a familiarity she found satisfying. She had just a few quick errands to run; she'd promised a friend she'd bring back herbs, and she needed a few new vines to dry and braid for a replacement armour strap.
She adjusted her hood to better cover her crinet. The metal was dull, but she had no inclination to polish it- whether above or below ground, the gleam of metal could warn unseen eyes of her position.
She found the herbs quickly despite the darkness. Her other senses were sharply honed with years of experience nagivating the tunnels. Now for the vines: they just had to be perfect.
