The chanfron adorned crustacean quickly disappeared and blended in so well among the hoard that Strohmeier could no longer make out where it was. He let out a sharp snort, but in reality wasn't actually too upset that it got away scot free, as he never actually intended to cause it any harm. 

At the very bottom of the valuable mountain of items and treasure, Strohmeier spotted a strikingly gorgeous barding in superb condition, a few scratches here and there, but nothing that couldn't be tuned up easily. He approached the black armour and admired the silver details, and just as he was about to drag it away from the hoard he spotted something glimmering inside of the headpiece.

He flicked his ears and stepped closer to inspect, only to be presented with a scene of two majestic beetles fighting each other. They were both adorned with gemstones, which looked like they were naturally rather than artificially attached to the two critters.

Strohmeier snorted at the small combatants to get their attention, as he didn't want to cause them any harm while commandeering the barding. 

The two beetles looked up at the dark courser before scuttling off in different directions, and Strohmeier could finally start pulling out and start putting on his new, shiny gear, absolutely thrilled to have made such an amazing find.
