[DD2] Jezebel: A Father's Teachings
Once upon a time, in a village small
There lived an adventurer, Zenithal.
He had a foal, yes, a harlequin child,
Whose personality would be called ‘wild’.
The foal, they were trouble, no doubt about,
And oh, such an ego the child would flout!
Zenithal did his best to try and teach;
“Nothing that easy was right,” he would preach.
One day, this Zenithal did not return.
A different lesson the child did learn:
“Nothing right was ever worth dying for!”
A child’s vow, the younger Jezebel swore.
Here and now, a goose all ready to fight
With a salamander lacking in might,
Was called off by the one Jezebel true.
For nothing that easy was worth it, too.
Maybe half of what their father did teach
Managed to get within their ego’s reach.
Two lessons were gained over that year.
And so a salamander moves on without fear.
