The floors are unstable, always shifting and changing. Lucia had her detailed maps, but they're still not quiet enough. Not when she's so deep in the dungeon, and not when she's alone. Heart achingly alone. Capo had even stayed home today, leaving the girl without her emotional support animal. Can't get too shaken by it. Have to keep going. Trying to sort her thoughts and orient herself, Lucia is all too aware that she's gone in a circle. Shoot, not again. It was well into the night now, and she was growing tired. Too tired to hike back to the surface tonight, and too road worn to continue much further. How could she be so stupid?

It's as Andrej sets camp, that he notices the girl. Doe eyed... lost. Shit, was she about to be his problem? Small fire crackling cheerfully where its contained by stones, casting light against the walls. Not exactly subtle, though he wasn't trying to hide. Maybe he should have. The girl wanders closer, looking without trying to seem like she's looking. Andrej gathers what's left of his charm, offers a soft call. No use leaving her to the wolves, or whatever creepy crawlies were down here. It was late, after all.

"Oh, hello, um--" Lucia stammers for a moment.
"You're fine. Come on, there's space here. It's getting late." Andrej's tone is soft, though his words are a bit stilted. The language they speak down here is a vastly different dialect than his own.

Lucia gratefully closes the distance, though she knows better than to trust strange men in dungeons. This one even spoke strangely, and she's almost concerned it's another one of those fungi anomalies from earlier. As she neared, it seemed that he was alright. A broad, red man, settled by the fire. Stretched comfortably. Carefully, Lucia lays out her blanket beside his, huddling next to the man around the small circle of stones.

Companionship is enough, in the dungeon. Strange magic afoot, though neither can be sure exactly what that means. When Lucia wakes the next morning, Andrej is already gone. Maybe he was just a bit of dungeon magic, after all.
