[DD2] The Tales of the Empty Grave 18
Jordan left Mace, Geren and Evan in Eleywell drinking and joined Crispin at the agreed spot.
"How are things going with you?" Crispin asked him.
"We've found an enormous keep in dungeons, most of it moves through the dungeon cycles at the same time, and other parts shift from the moor and the caverns or even to other levels," Jordan explained, "However the parts that stay put could house a hundred or more coursers with room to spare for a dozen more."
"Wow! What a find, so that is home now?" Crispin asked him, just to confirm.
"Yes, it's home. I am still in the process of mapping it out and erecting various protections. I will take you there now using the cauldron entrance," Jordan said.
Crispin lived a double life, some would say a triple life. He and his lover Terrence were members of the Empty Grave, a cult of mainly necromancers who were faithful to the God of Envy - the Wolf. Crispin was not a necromancer himself, instead he was a high priest of Eugene, living his life grandly and fully to the envy of many.
One of his new duties was being the surface contact for the dungeon dwelling cult. It was not a duty without its own rewards. Jordan was generous with him and there was nothing that he or his boy Terrence lacked.
"I blocked out my availability with the guild for a couple days. I left Terrence a bit tied up, but he will come next time," Crispin said.
Jordan chuckled.
"Did he misbehave or are you just up to your antics?" Jordan asked.
"Heh. Both," Crispin admitted and the two chuckled.
They entered into the dungeon entrance in the midst of the Kufran forest and were soon at the marked entrance to the cauldron. As soon as they were inside, Jordan summoned three skeletal servants who picked up supplies that he had stashed in a small alcove.
Crispin was as always impressed with the ease of Jordan's necromantic expression and pitied anyone who ever would get on this courser's bad side.
