Is this your first time in the dungeon, or are you a veteran of the Courser’s calling? When and why did you decide to answer the call of the depths?

Caedemir's was originally a surface dweller and still ocassionally goes back up to the surface. He's still new, learning the ropes, and admittedly, is a bit scared and anxious of how dangerous it is. When he met Varith on the surface, he fell in love with his beautiful voice and descided on the whim of his muse to follow him on his adventures, even though that meant delving into the dangers of the dungeon.
