[DD2] mugging - kirito

Thanks again for saving me!” The lost courser bowed in thanks and then started off to his home. “Your welcome” the black courser nodded back, and then once again traversed the dungeon to get back to where he was previously in the earthen furnace, with the glowing rocks and the lava pools that were sprawled around the cavern. The glow was glistening off the rocks, making it sparkle as he walked. His eyes widened as he then saw the shadow of a dragon, and he quickly pulled out his sword and used his spectral hand to hold the other, to dual wield them and got himself ready for a fight. As he waited what he saw wasn’t a dragon, however a pesky wyrm that coughed a tiny flame, holding a dagger in his hand trying to mug him for his gold. Kirito went ahead and put back his weapons and threw some gold at the creature, then it scampered off into the distance. He shook his head slowly, then looked off in wonder with what just happened. After waiting a while, he then made his way through the cavern once again, as sounds of his hooves echoed through, and the sound of rushing lava could be heard around the corner. The creature that he had given gold to was in trouble, so he ran over and caught him quickly before he could fall into the lava, and after saving him, released him back in a different direction.

The jury isn’t out on whether dragons truly lurk the dungeons. Some veteran adventurers claim to have seen them with their own eyes. Surely they wouldn’t be this close to the surface? The shadow you see on the wall begs to differ. You brace yourself to battle the beast – but the creature that accosts you is much smaller. A pesky wyrm coughs its tiny flame at you, mugging you for gold to add to its hoard.
