Everard returned to the ship with Onir and Hassir. They had found a few valuable items including some gold and were in good spirits.

"I'll have you take in Latihir and Cassimir next," Hassir told him as he poured them some rum.

Onir had found a dragonbat pet and seemed quit attached to it despite it being the opposing element to his own. He was feeding it in the corner.

"That's fine, I will only need to rest until tomorrow morning and then we can set out," Everard said.

"Latihir is from our generation but Cassimir is younger and a bit of brat," Hassir explained, "But he is very capable or I wouldn't have him here on this trip with us."

Everard nodded, "Of course. I know that as long as they are part of your crew that they are no slouches."

Onir finished feeding the bat, and came over to lay out food for the two of them. 

"Thank love," Hassir said before continuing to talk to Everard, "When you're finished with the two of them, I want you to take Yudil and Amir through."

"Ah, entrusting me with the second wife?" Everard asked teasingly. Hassir just chuckled in response and switched the conversation back to talking about the land acquisition.

Everard entered the Earthen cauldron with his two companions, both green coursers like most of the Neviths. Latihir was quiet and hadn't said a word in the last twenty minutes but Cassimir was talking enough for the two of them.

When they entered into one of the rooms, there was the sudden negging of a group of imps. Everard could still remember Hassir impaling one of them.

He wondered if this was the same group.

"Wow how rude," Cassimir commented and he casually drew his scimitar and and shook it menacingly at them.

"You couldn't hit a dragon with that thing!" one of the taunted.

And it was exactly that one that met its end as Cassimir surged forward so fast it was a blur and attacked. The rest fled and Everard thought to himself that by the time he was finished familiarizing his family with the dungeons that imps might either be an endangered species or lose their habit of openly taunting adventurers all together.
