Quillerian was talking to Phaze about some of the intricacies of weaponsmithing when they heard an all too familiar voice, echoing through the hall.

"I'm lost! But at least I killed them! Hehe! I showed them who to mess with didn’t I slime!!" came the merry tone.

"Is that Chaos?" Benedict asked incredulously.

"I think it is," Ruin said with a laugh, "Didn't we leave him on cleaning duty at the camp?"

"He obviously got bored and wandered off knowing him," Phaze reckoned, "But why is he in the cauldron of all places? Doesn't he hate the heat."

The team continued on and met Chaos at a crossroads.

He exclaimed when he saw them and they were also in shock because he had not only his skeletal servant with him but a moth and slime.

"Oh guys! I am so happy to see you all!" he cried out, "I am lost!!"

Quill sighed to himself.

"I am not all surprised by this," Ruin replied, "You should be in camp."

"Not my fault you all deserted me to have fun!" Chaos protested.

He seemed extremely happy to see them, going up to Phaze and rubbing all over him, then coming over to playfully nip Benedict and Ruin. He was more reserved with Quill, and it was because he was expecting to be scolded. 

Quill didn't bother, gently pressing their noses together instead. Chaos' eyes lit up happily and Quill smiled to himself. Out of all of the ones he was tasked with taking care of, Chaos was perhaps the most trouble but also the most pure.

"Let's continue on, I know how to get to the camp from here," Ruin announced.

"Are you bringing back the slime and moth?" Phaze asked Chaos.

"Yes, I am thinking of becoming a part time beastmaster!" Chaos announced.

"Oh that's cool! Good luck," Benedict encouraged.

Quill had some misgivings about it but he wisely kept them to himself.
