After eating his apple, he started hearing a voice off in the distance. “Help! I am lost!” He then started off to find the voice and eventually found a lost courser. Kai offered to help him out for a bit of coin, and the courser happily gave him some. “Alright follow me” with that the two made their way back to the surface and the courser thanked Kai for the escort out.
