After they got out of the garden they found themselves in an empty hall before a grand door. The sealed door was the only exit and the only other thing in the room was a statue of courser which was like the ones there were in the garden outside.

"I can't teleport past this door, it's warded," Phaze reported.

"I'll try to open it," Ruin said and he unfurled his lockpicking kit and got to work.

While he did that Benedict set up a temporary camp in a corner of the room and started to cook.

Phaze stood near Quillerian and when he wasn't chased away started to rub against him.

"You can continue," Quill said quietly and Phaze happily started to groom him while Quill closed his eyes and relaxed.

Benedict watched the pair of them wondering to himself when he had become someone who wasn't jealous anymore. In his youth growing up and before he was kidnapped into the cult he used to be very covetous and jealous of everything. He hated to share and envy used to eat him up.

Now after a solid year under Quill's tutelage in the ways of The Wolf, it was as if the beast that was inside of him had been quelled.

He could see Quillerian who had become very important to him, be intimate with another member of the eleven or even with one of their initiates and he would not feel bad about it.  He was comfortable in his own skin now like never before ..he bet his parents would not even be able to recognize him if they saw him now.

He finished up the soup he was cooking and dished it out by soaking hunks of bread in it until it absorbed the liquid and then he set one aside for each person.

Ruin took a break and they all ate together.

"So what do you think is in that room?" Benedict asked.

"With the complex lock and energy guard, I am thinking of some sort of treasure," Phaze reasoned.

"I am unsure," Quill said.

"We'll find out soon enough. I am almost finished breaking in," he stated.

"Oh that's exciting."

Benedict finished eating first and left the other to clean up while he went to stare at the door a bit. He pawed the ground and suddenly with a creak the door opened.

"Umm... I got it open," Benedict called out and they all came over.

When they entered the room, it was empty save for a large mirror.

When Quillerian went over to look at it, he didn't see anything in the mirror. He was confused and about to ask the others what they saw when he realized they were all staring into it as if mesmerized by some strange spell.

"Benedict! Phaze! Ruin!" he called out, but none of them answer him.

Quill stood in front of Phaze, who was closest to him and blocked out his view. After what felt like a very long minute or so, Phaze blinked and came back to himself.

"W-What happened?"

"Turn around and leave, do not look back," Quillerian told him.

"But-"

"Do it. I will take care of the others," Quillerian told him.

Phaze was obviously reluctant but he ultimately did as he was directed.
