Chaos keep going until he found somethin that interested him. In this case it was that he stumbled upon, well actually almost stepped on a small slime. It was non-threatening and a bit quite to look at.

"You should go and hide before some adventurer kills you and turns you in to alchemy material," Chaos told it.

Of course the slime didn't seem to understand and hopped over to him instead.

Chaos sighed softly and watched it come right up to his leg and then bounce cutely in place.

"Where are you parents?" Chaos wondered out loud, "Or were you born out of the very essence of the dungeon as I was."

The slime paused its bouncing for a long moment. If Chaos didn't know better he would think it was listening to him speak. After that pause it started bouncing again and he decided to leave it to it.

"Pick him up, Samuel," Chaos directed the skeletal servant. Even though it did not have soul, he was adept as directing his undead pets by his voice. It was considered a psychic skill and it was one of the many he had been born with.

The slime seemed happy enough to be carried and so Chaos set off down the nearest passage way.

To his delight he found an area that was overgrown but had quite a few useful herb plants. He instructed the skeleton to put down the slime and get to digging. Where such plants grew was also a very good place to find roots and tubers.

While the skeleton worked diligently in one corner, Chaos tackled the other side while the slime was content to bounce between the two of them as if supervising the work.
