As Kalio fell into the spike pit he held his breath and closed his eyes. He landed with a big thud. Shaking he opened his eyes and noticed the spikes were smaller then him and easy to walk around and step over very carefully. Kalio stood up and started walking through the maze, dark enough to barely see in front of him. He used his nose to feel out the tips of the spikes and the distance between them to figure out where his next step was. He continued to do this until he saw a small light leading him to his next adventure.
