Edin then took another step and then he once again stepped on something else this time, it had a sinister texture that wriggled unpleasantly under his hoof. He tried to wiggle it off quickly, but the thing held on tight, so he lifted his hoof and had Snow take it off and once the courser was free, he told his companion to let it go as it then scampered off into the darkness.
