Once Vynak had managed to leave behind the room full of silk worms, he found himself in what seemed to be a never ending tunnel. It was winding, and difficult to navigate making him question several times if he should turn back or not. However he was not simply going to give up; he was not operating blind.

As Nathaniel's knight and also by extention his devotee, he had a special charm which would point him in his master's direction. It was lighting up at regular intervals and getting stronger each time which was telling him that he was getting closer to Nathaniel position and not father away.

After travelling for about two hours, he finally came to the end of that tunnel but he came out into a room to what he would consider a very curious scene.

The smell of smoke was heavy in the air, and there was the charred remains of what must have been a carnivorous plant of some sort because he could see courser bones among the ashes.

He was willing to bet that Nathaniel and Ravin had been here and faced this creature. He didn't smell any fresh courser blood, so he surmised that they had defeated it without taking any damage from it themselves.

He couldn't pick up the scent of the foal... though now that he thought about it, the foal didn't seem to have a defining smell.

That's a bit strange...Vynak thought to himself, at the very least he should have smelt like the dungeons.

The overgrown caverns had a damp leafy musk to it that hung on you for at least a couple hours after you came out of it. The little foal has not had any scent at all.

Vynak was now more worried than ever before, but unable to do anything about it in the moment.

He decided to rest for a couple hours before continuing on, though he didn't want to do so in this smokey room. He went on to the next cavern, which luckily was connected by only a short tunnel and found a mossy corner to rest his eyes.
