Vynak returned from a brief patrol around the estate to find that the foal, who had instructed to stay in the cottage had disappeared. After asking a few of the guards, he discovered that the foal had headed towards the dungeons.

He sighed heavily. He had a feeling that the little courser had decided to follow behind Nathaniel and Ravin. He didn't know why and nothing he could think of had a good reasoning to it. The foal made him uneasy, and he regretted now that he had taken his eyes off of him.

Vynak quickly returned to the cottage and got his diving gear. He informed the guard captain of his intentions and set off into the dungeons. To his consternation, the magic of the dungeon had taken effect.

The main room that they had found before was no longer in the same position. In it's place was a cavern that was filled with silk worms. Most were already in the cocoons but others were in the process or wriggling around looking for something to eat.

Vynak had no time to be delayed here, so he drew his sword and fought his way through, sundering both worm and cocoon if it got in-between him and the door.
