The eerie sound of hooves connecting with the cold, stone ground echoed throughout the corridor. It was the only noise that could be heard, the only thing breaking the air of silence. A soft huff escaped through a grey stallion's nostrils as he shook his head tiredly. Poltergeist has been wandering these halls for gods only know how long and he was getting sick of it. Everything down here looked the same, moss covered stones and cobwebs. He hated it, especially considering he still hasn't found anything interesting.

Turning down yet another hallway, he let out an annoyed groan. His tail swished behind him, smacking at the air as he walked. Staring straight ahead of him, he didn't notice the chanfron that was against the wall. At least, not until it moved quickly past him in the corner of his eye.

“What the-” Poltergeist gasped out as he jumped a few steps ahead with a heaving chest. His eyes were wide as he turned around to see what had moved, and upon seeing the chanfron that once belonged to another courser he seemed to calm down a bit. That was until he noticed the eyes peeking back at him from underneath the metal. 

“Yeah, that's going to be a hard no for me” Poltergeist grumbled out as he turned back around and quickly trotted off down the hallway. He didn't do bugs or critters and he definitely wasn't going to stick around to see what exactly was under the chanfron that had scuttled past him. He was really starting to hate this place now and the stallion that managed to convince him to come down into this pest ridden place. Gritting his teeth as he slowed back down to a walk, he let out an annoyed snort while narrowing his eyes. He needs to find Cadaver so he could give that man a piece of his mind.
