''If I was sent here to protect you from the evil you play with, then so be it. But my dear, please remember that I cannot stop what I do not know... so please, tell me your secrets, and I will grant you what your heart desires,'' Hala spoke in an echo towards the small puck, gazing down at her miniature shape in-front of them with genuine concern faulting to hide in the words they spoke to their sibling. They weren't sure why Tindra would go after such evil in a place when she had everything she could ask for - a loving family, a home, a place to call their own. Hala could not tell nor understand what was stirring inside the mind of this small, often silent puck, but they would be there for her no matter what that entailed for themselves.
Tindra lowered her big ears as her gaze fell to the ground with an expression that showed ... some kind of guilt - even if small, it was still there, and Hala could feel it in their heart as they watched and waited for her reaction or response. Yet, they were prepared not to pry if there was something she truly had to hide from them - but they hoped Tindra trusted them enough to lay their heart out even in a moment like this.
''I... I joined the cult to be part of something bigger... Maybe, so I could grow... Maybe I could become like you,'' she uttered in a soft whisper as her usually stoic eyes staring voids into other coursers were now filling with tears at her own words. Something she had yet to understand or explain was now falling out of her tongue as to somehow make this guilt go away, lay it to slumber as they watched their bigger sibling they had such a strong connection with. It hurt to utter such harsh words even for herself... She knew she was enough in everyone eyes and yet the feeling of being inferior pained her more than she had ever let on - she didn't feel like them, and it was something she strifed for.
Hala could tell how much of this frustration and anger had built up within their sister, and all they could do was lay a hoof over her back and hug her close, knowing words were not going to do more than soothe the pain for the moment, but they hoped a physical action like this could prove to Tindra that it would all be okay and that she wasn't in the wrong for digging holes for the flaws she was bested by.
