Unlike the first two entries, the writing on this one is shaky and uneven, as if he were deeply perturbed while writing.

Day three

The ground was red. It wasn’t blood, was it? It couldn’t have been. Just a trick of the light – the harvest moon was blood red tonight, so obviously it was just reflecting its red light on the swampy parts of the moor. It wasn’t blood at all. Of course it wasn’t. The dungeon must just be getting to me and making me a little jumpy, that’s all.

Oh stars above, what if it was? Why would there be so much blood here? What happened here? Could the war really have been so brutal as to soak the ground for hundreds of generations…?

How does the light of the harvester’s moon even reach this far down into the dungeon?

Unlike the levels above it, the floor of the Moor is spongy and wet. Your hooves sink down into it as you step – and come away red. How strange. What do you suppose is causing this pigment in some areas? It can’t possibly be blood… Right?

Legend says that the Harvester is more likely to come out during the full moon that bears his name. Do you wish to meet him under the Harvest Moon? Or do you shelter somewhere to stay clear of its blood-red beams?
