[DD3] First Come First Served
It's possible that Jarmark miscalculated how smooth a trip to the Dungeon would look. It's not like he'd never been there. Quite the opposite, he'd been down to the highest floors even by himself! Now, however, they'd gone lower. A lot. A lot lower. He wanted to get his hands on some of those whole Soul Seeds that everyone was talking about. Maybe with a good wind, he could plant a few on the surface. He'd also heard from other coursers that they'd seen yellow flowers as well as pumpkins. It probably wouldn't hurt to grab a few seedlings.
Gathering the party itself wasn't a problem. At first, the group of three was a bit skeptical, but when he mentioned, of course, not because he'd ''forgotten that someone was gossiping about something shiny'', a treasure that could be located so low in the dungeon - Calix immediately nodded enthusiastically, agreeing with him.
Two days later, they were walking on the battle-scarred ground. Why would anyone fight a war so low in the underground? He didn't know. They walked in single file. Calix, since they were the main guide here, then Jarmark, then Thulite with her cat, and Bronze at the end. So far they didn't manage to find any treasure or wanted flora.
The thing that they managed to get though was a lack of sleep. Okay, maybe lack of sleep was a bit exaggerated, but the dreams that everyone had - made their sleep restless. The only ones who didn't seem particularly affected were Calix.
"Lets look around." Calix said, glancing at them from the corner of their eye. They knew there could be some valuable trinkets here somewhere. They had seen them last time on the way back, they just had no way to take them. "Hey, Thulite can you look around for a safe cave? The full moon should be up soon outside. We don't want to meet up with Harvester."
"Fine." Thulite grimaced at the idea that she had to look for some stupid hole while the others were looking for prey. She looked at her black cat. - Come on.
She was the only one who took her companion with her. The fair didn't want to risk, and the same was true for Bronze. As for Thulite, she said that since she found it in the dungeon - it should be fine.
----
- Found something - Sometime later, the pink Courser came back. The rest of the group didn't really find anything interesting, leaving Calix a bit grumpy. Someone must have gotten to it before they come back. Jarmark just put his straw hat on their head, laughing that there surly is more treasure in the whole dungeon.
---
If they got chased out of the cave by very angry bats, and needed to find another, just to hear heavy footsteps of the Harvester while they tried to sleep - Noone said a word. Mostly for Thulite ego's sake, but shhh
