The sounds of the dungeons called to her once more and so she found herself making her way into the deep. She picked through the tunnels not entirely sure what she was looking for, even less certain what she may find. But she was content to walk slowly and listen to the world around her. Her faithful companion perched on her back as she traveled through the tunnels and she was content to listen to his breathing, a constant reminder that she was never alone.

She had traveled some way when suddenly weight slammed down on her back and Cosmo's fearful scream echoed through the Dungeons. Luna heard the flapping of wings and felt claws sink into her skin. Panic took her and she lept into the air, hoping to slam the offending creature into the ceiling of the tunnel. When that did not dislodge it she threw herself to the ground and rolled frantically.

Blood curdling screeches and the sound of bones cracking filled her skull as she felt the life squeezed out of the mysterious creature below her. It hurt her so to know that she took a life to save herself... but when one can not see, flight is not an option. You can't take chances when something has hold of you.

Rolling so that she could sit upright, tears spilled out of her eyes and down her face. Once to her feet she reached for the body of her attacker, throwing it back onto her back so that she may take it to the surface to give it a proper burial. She called for Cosmos who gave an undignified retort... unwilling to settle back down and share his ride with a corpse. Luna chided him for being disrespectful to the dead and began her trek back to the surface.
